It has been a wet and grey day today. I got to sleep in this morning until 8:30 which was fabulous. Sue and Kingsley took us all out to breakfast and Kieran feasted upon morsels of egg dipped chips, fresh cream and chunks of caramel slice. We also hustled him off to the playground where he fell in love with a car, pacing round and round it. By the time we got home he was far too tired to take along with Sue and Kingsley to visit Lesley and Ian's.Yesterday contained a nasty surprise. While we were at the library getting K some more books a meterman ticketed us for having an out of date rego. The car rego has not been top of mind for a number of reasons - but we wont be forgetting the $200 fine in a hurry. It never rains but it pours!! Chaos then descended upon us as Sue, Kingsley, Jen and Dave arrived. They were staying with us for the night. After a meal of Hell pizza they all headed off to go see Cats. We stayed at home and cried - big wusses that we are.
Hopefully the weather is better tomorrow. K and I shan't be going to the last day of Oratia playgroup - transport being only one of the reasons, but some sunshine would make me feel a bit more chipper :)
