Excitingly enough, as Kierans birthday was on Sunday he got to have his birthday party on his actual birthday. He invited his entire class and luckily only half came, leaving me with the task of coming up with enough Plants vs Zombies games to entertain the lot for 2 hours. As Kieran wanted a PvZ themed party we themed the cake, the decorations and the food. I created a Plants vs Zombies bingo game, drew a giant zombie for Pin the Eye on the Zombie and came up with 4 other games. nWe began by painting the guests with PvZ designs and they all had a fantastic time. Sadly Kieran didn't want to play the games for fear he might not win and so spent a substantial amount of time weeping in the kitchen with Chris. However we managed to get him sorted, to open presents and have a play for the last 30 minutes of the party and he told us he had a fantastic birthday, which is what counts. I think we'll go for something more intimate next year though, dinner and a movie perhaps, or a visit to a theme park or maybe even Londinium :P
